In collaboration with CommonWealth Investments, Strong Root Capital has acquired Dalsem Mushroom Projects (DMP) from Dalsem Group. With effect from 1 January 2018, it is the new owner of the Horst-based specialist in the development and realisation of high-tech mushroom farms throughout the world.
Facilitating growth
Dalsem Group’s prime activity is delivering greenhouse horticulture projects, while DMP is exclusively engaged in the field of mushroom cultivation. Under Dalsem Groep’s wing, DMP has operated relatively independently since 1987. The arrival of a new owner and the new CEO Ron Hegger now gives DMP the scope and support to grow and further expand its position as one of the market leaders. Dalsem Groep and DMP will continue collaborating where possible.
